Semester GPA vs. Cumulative GPA

A semester GPA reflect the grades earned in a single semester. All other GPA are calculated on the cumulative GPA which include selected courses for selected semesters. Since your cumulative grade is dependent on all the previous work you completed (both credit and grade point), a new semester can change your GPA but still leaves you with your GPA from a prior semester.

How to Calculate Cumulative GPA
